I'm very grateful to have met Ranjit as my mentor in my yoga journey. His best trait is his ability to combine the spiritual teachings of yoga with the scientific approach of anatomy. He doesn't just guide you into a pose. He wants his students to understand every muscular movement that supports our bodies in the pose. Sometimes we fail to realize that how we feel after the pose is equally as important as achieving and staying in a pose, and his teachings guide you to go in and out of a pose with ease. I injured my right hip after taking a 200-hr YTT and have ever since felt an underlying pain whenever I practice asana. Ranjit taught me how to use and strengthen the right muscles so that I no longer felt this underlying pain in my right hip. I wholeheartedly recommend Ranjit to anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of asana and yoga!
Ranjit is a very experienced and motivating yoga teacher. I enjoy his warm-up and sequences, and after every class, I feel lighter and recharged. I have taken both his group classes and private classes, and they both complement each other very well. He understands each student’s goals, needs, and weaknesses and guides you to achieve them as quickly as possible without getting injured. In addition, he can share a lot of wisdom on the physical anatomy and the philosophy of yoga. Last but not least, Ranjit is a friendly, approachable teacher with a quirky sense of humor. I would recommend both beginners and advanced practitioners to try out his classes!
