Yoga, for me, was not something I grew up with; it began through injury. During my teenage years, I experienced a severe lower back injury that left me unable to walk independently. Despite multiple medical consultations, X-rays, and MRIs, no clear cause was identified. It was a difficult period, where I had to rely entirely on my family, especially my mother and sister, for support.
My sister, who was practicing yoga and Ayurveda, introduced me to a different path of healing. Through consistent Ayurvedic treatment and simple practices, I gradually recovered. But more than the recovery, it was the shift in perspective that stayed with me. Until then, I believed yoga was only for the sick or elderly. That experience changed my understanding completely.
It showed me that pain, challenge, and uncertainty can often become the starting point of transformation. What began as recovery turned into curiosity, and that curiosity eventually shaped my path. As I continued, I pursued formal training in Hatha Yoga and expanded into fitness, rehabilitation, personal training, and neurokinetic therapy. Over time, I developed a deeper interest in understanding the body, not just in how it moves but in how it heals, adapts, and evolves.
My work has taken me across India, China, Hong Kong, and Japan, where I’ve worked with individuals from different cultures, professions, and physical backgrounds.
These experiences helped me understand that every individual requires a different approach to movement and wellness. Rather than following rigid methods, I focus on creating personalized yoga sessions that adapt to the needs of each student.
I have also guided wellness retreats, workshops, and immersive training experiences designed to help individuals step away from routine and reconnect with themselves through mindful practice.
Today, my work integrates strength, mobility, and mindful movement with a strong emphasis on technique, safety, and long-term sustainability. My intention is not only to help you move better, but to guide you toward a deeper understanding of your own body and practice so you leave feeling stronger, more aware, and genuinely transformed.
